Job Responsibilities:

  • Market Analysis and Strategy Development: Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities within the mining and industrial sectors. Develop and implement a strategic plan to penetrate these markets.
  • Sales Campaigns: Design and execute effective sales campaigns targeting potential clients in the mining and industrial sectors. Tailor approaches to meet the specific needs and challenges of these industries.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target companies. Understand their needs and provide solutions that align with our product offerings.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our products and their applications in the mining and industrial sectors. Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for potential clients.
  • Marketing Initiatives: Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling marketing materials, digital content, and promotional campaigns that resonate with the target audience.
  • Lead Generation: Identify and qualify leads through various channels, including industry events, online platforms, and direct outreach. Maintain a robust pipeline of prospects.
  • Sales Metrics and Reporting: Track and analyze sales performance metrics. Provide regular reports on progress, challenges, and opportunities to senior management.
  • Industry Networking: Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Higher National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree as an added advantage in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and marketing, with a focus on the mining and/or industrial sectors.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales and marketing strategies that result in market penetration and revenue growth.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the mining industry and its specific needs, challenges, and trends. Familiarity with industrial products such as pumps, valves, flow meters, bearings, and couplings is highly desirable.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • HND or advanced degree in a relevant field.
  • Existing network of contacts within the mining and industrial sectors.
  • Experience with digital marketing and online sales strategies.
