Sales Analyst

Reporting to: Head of Sales

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assisting and participating in sales strategy formulation
  • Monitoring and analysing competitor activity and market trends
  • Preparation & monitoring of budgets & forecasts for sales function
  • Suggests adjustments and revisions to promotional strategies to improve sales run rate
  • Provide data analytics to support hardware pricings decisions. daily sales execution and other sales activities
  • Be champion for MultiChoice sales operation tools (Brandworx, FSS, SAP)
  • Compiling, analyzing and reporting on sales data
  • Provision of daily sales performance reports
  • Providing actionable insights to guide the sales team
  • Prepare periodic variance reports highlighting key drivers
  • Designing metrics to forecast future trends
  • Create sales performance evaluation reports based on collected data for the sales team
  • Compiling analyzing and reporting on subscriber acquisition costs for various sales channels
  • Use of statistical data to influence supply chain and distribution of stock
  • Customer relationship management of Agents & Installers
  • Attending to queries from Agents & Installers

Qualifications and Experience

  • Business related Degree in such areas as Economics, Finance, Business Management, Statistics or Computer science
  • Related business professional qualification is an added advantage
  • Strong industry/market knowledge
  • Strong research and data analysis skills
  • Strong projection and forecasting skills
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • Power point, advanced excel user and Power BI
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in in a similar role
