Job Summary:
The Marketing Officer will play a crucial role in developing and executing effective marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and sales growth for the company. This position requires a creative and results-oriented individual with a strong understanding of marketing principles and a passion for the furniture industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns: Plan, coordinate, and implement a variety of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital marketing (social media, email, website), traditional marketing (print, radio, outdoor), and in-store promotions.
- Manage social media presence: Create engaging social media content, monitor brand mentions, and interact with customers on various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
- Content creation: Develop high-quality marketing copy for website, brochures, catalogues and other marketing materials.
- Website management: Assist in maintaining and updating the company website with new products, promotions, and engaging content.
- Public relations: Build and maintain relationships with local media outlets and industry influencers.
- Market research and analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences. Analyze campaign performance and provide data-driven insights to optimize future campaigns.
- Event planning and execution: Assist in planning and executing in-store events, trade shows, and other promotional activities.
- Budget management: Assist in managing the marketing budget effectively and within allocated limits.
- Customer relationship management (CRM): Contribute to building and maintaining strong customer relationships through targeted marketing campaigns and personalized communications
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience in a marketing role, preferably within the retail or furniture industry.
Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
- Proficiency in social media marketing and content creation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus
