Marketing and Public Relations Officer

A position for Marketing & Public Relations Officer has arisen with a service organisation. The position reports to the Business Development Executive and its key role is to help create and deliver marketing strategies and campaigns for the company.


  • Planning, preparing and managing the publication and distribution of publicity materials
  • Devising and implementing marketing campaigns
  • Marketing calendar of events, such as conventions, symposiums, seminars, dinners, promotions, exhibitions, product launches, workshops, or fundraising activities
  • Ensuring brand visibility through organising annual golf activities, charity events and campaigns
  • Undertaking market research and establishing the best way to reach target groups
  • Writing, editing and proofreading marketing material for use in different channels
  • Overseeing and updating the organisation’s website and social media platforms
  • Coordinating and communicating member value proposition through the organisation’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
  • Line management of marketing support staff
  • Conducting marketing impact analysis and preparing measurement reports

  • Good communication skills, including the ability to write high quality research reports, conduct studies and to articulate ideas in a clear and concise style
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, teamwork and adept at working with people of diverse cultural and social backgrounds

Required Skills and Experience


  • Degree or Higher Diploma in Marketing/Business Management or Relevant
  • A Digital Marketing qualification is a distinct advantage


  • At least 3years’ working experience in Service Industry
  • Proven experience in development of marketing strategies and related policy documents
  • Experience of working with members, students and providing advice
  • Excellent analytical, writing and presentation skills
  • Research experience vital.
