We are a leading micro-insurance company looking for motivated and skilled sales agents to help us provide essential insurance solutions tailored specifically for tobacco farmers. Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage potential clients within the tobacco farming community.
  • Actively promote and sell micro-insurance products to tobacco farmers and other agricultural clients highlighting key benefits
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their insurance needs.
  • Conduct presentations and demonstrations of our products to potential clients.
  • Help farmers complete insurance applications accurately and efficiently and ensure all paperwork is submitted correctly.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company.
  • Maintain records of sales activities and report on performance metrics to management regularly.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, changes in regulations, opportunities for products enhancement and new offerings

Qualifications

  • An academic qualification Business, Marketing, Agriculture or any other related field
  • Certificate of Proficiency is an added advantage
  • Experience in sales, particularly in agricultural products or insurance, is preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Familiarity with the tobacco farming industry, its challenges, and the specific needs of farmers.
  • Strong understanding of micro-insurance products and their benefits.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A background in agriculture or familiarity with the needs of tobacco farmers is a plus.
