MAZ will host the Annual Continuous Professional Development (ACPD) Master Class also known as the Winter School from the 29th to the 31st of July 2020. Unlike in other years, due to the restrictions arising from the Covid19 Pandemic, the Master Class, will be a virtual classroom, on the Zoom/Teams Platform. The ACDP is held annually to provide fresh insights and new trends through the speaker’s presentations. The intensive career changing programme is divided into Class A and B. Class A is for professionals who want to be accredited as Marketing Practitioners. The Marketing Practitioner Status is valid for three years, and can only be maintained by the attendance to the CPD Master Class within a period of 3 years. One of the facilitators for Class A is the IMM Senior lecturer Micheal Beaven who will present on Strategic Marketing Formulation.
The Continuous Professional Development Master Class is also referred to as Master Class B. The Master Class is for Executives who want to remain in sync with changes in the marketing and service delivery field. The Master Class is open to; current MAZ Accredited Marketing Practitioners; Marketing Directors, Marketing Managers, Brand Managers and Marketing Teams; Business Development Managers, Sales Directors, Sales Managers and Sales Executives; Public Relations Managers as well as customer Service Heads and Customer Service Managers.
For 2020, the MAZ ACPD Master Class has attracted an array of local and regional facilitators who will tackle various topics in line with the new normal. Gary Bolt, the Managing Director of a leading Digital Agency in South Africa, will present on Managing Digital Campaigns and Agency Relations, whilst Janet Machuka, founder of ATC Digital Academy from Kenya, and the leader of the prominent leading thought discussion on digital matters, Africa Tweetchat, a twitter thought leadership platform from digital experts drawn over Africa, will tackle Digital Marketing Strategy. Further, with the advent of the new normal, companies need upbeat ecommerce strategies, Victor Mwangi, Chief Commercial Officer of Sendy and East African Logistics Platform, will present on success factors needed in a winning ecommerce strategy. Other speakers include, Juliet Ziswa, a former Marketing Director for Unilever and Netone, now heading the Marketing Function for d.light design Inc based in Kenya, Workmore Chimweta, who is the MD of Zimnat Life as well as Lenox Mhlanga, a seasoned public and corporate reputation expert.</p
