MAZ hosted a successful Annual Continuous Professional Development (ACPD) also known as the Winter School from June 19 to 22, 2019 at the Carribbea Bay in Kariba. The ACDP is held annually to provide fresh insights and new trends through the speaker’s presentations. The intensive career changing programme was divided into Class A and B. Class A was for professionals who wanted to be accredited as Marketing Practitioners. The Marketing Practitioner Status is valid for three years, and can only be maintained by the attendance to the CPD Master Class within a period of 3 years. One of the facilitators for Class A was IMM Senior lecturer Micheal Beaven who presented on Strategic Marketing Formulation.
The Continuous Professional Development Master Class is also referred to as Master Class B. The Master Class is for Executives who want to remain in sync with changes in the marketing and service delivery field. The Master Class was open to; current MAZ Accredited Marketing Practitioners; Marketing Directors, Marketing Managers, Brand Managers and Marketing Teams; Business Development Managers, Sales Directors, Sales Managers and Sales Executives; Public Relations Managers as well as customer Service Heads and Customer Service Managers.
South African Airways, country Manager, Winnie Muchanyuka delivered a presentation to Class B where she spoke on Adopting a Customer Experience Management Approach. Zimplats head of Corporate Affairs, Mrs Busi Chindove also hosted Class B and made a presentation on Maximizing CSR Activities to build Corporate Reputation: Learning points from Zimplats Albinism CSR programs. South African based IMM Senior lecturer Micheal Beaven also presented on Strategic Marketing Formulation to Class A.
