This Friday, the top 200 brands will be unveiled at a breakfast meeting which will be held at Crowne Plaza. These brands are derived from the first phase of the Superbrand where there is shortlisting of brands, which is done through a nationwide research by an independent research company. Consumers were first educated on what constitutes a Superbrand and were then asked to randomly mention companies or brands that they considered to be Superbrands in Zimbabwe. This process was done without prompting the consumer. It is from this process that the brands were further ranked according to the number of brand mentions. Before the unveiling of the brands, the Adjudication Committee had a chance to verify the shortlisting process. MAZ is therefore inviting all marketers, the media and brand custodians to come and witness who has made the top 200 brands this year.
